A couple of weeks ago, I heard on the news that John left us. I had the pleasure to work with him photographing his last house. On the few occasions that I visited him I got to know him but not enough. I learned by capturing his work that he was a great architect. I heard through my friends that had him as a professor at University of Houston that he was an excellent and challenging teacher. But above all, I know by the little I spoke with him over mint tea that he was an amazing human being.
We will miss you John but your legacy remains with us.
